Trevor Smith, on of my close friends shared this gold nugget of inspiration with me not too long ago and I thought I'd pass it along to some people who might appreciate it. Occasionally, if the mood of a story allows, I'll listen to this:
Rainy Mood. For an even more interesting musical experience, combine with:
Godot - The Fragrance of Dark Coffee. The Result is: --->
I love opening up my windows and listening to the rain, to the wind, to anything that nature wants to give me. These are wonderful! Keep posting them!
ReplyDeleteWriting when the weather is not so pleasant outside seems to help me focus! It allows me to work on my paper interrupted while listening to the pitter-patter of rain outside of my window.
ReplyDeleteI guess when it is raining, I am much less likely to be distracted by outside activities. This can in turn help me stay focused on course work and writing. I was reading the other night while it was raining, and it almost had a calming effect. I like the rain, but enough already, right? I'm hoping for sunny weather this week!
ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteLove the link to the rainymood website. Thank you! I have no idea why, but I love to write during rainy weather (Thunderstorms are the best!) I'm guessing I find them inspiring because I can't be outside in the sunshine so I why not write. : )
Amie
It seems like everyone likes the thunderstorms more than the second link, but I might feel the opposite. I always try to find something that stimulates my mind and puts me at ease, but doesn't distract me. I have to find something that I don't know and that I'm not that curious to learn, but also something I like. Keep spreading the wealth
ReplyDeleteI love the rainy thunderstorm link! It's perfect to study to, just like the white noise link I posted to my blog a few weeks ago.
